Founder/ Chairman/ CEO
She is an IT and infocomm veteran with 30 years’ experience, including nearly a decade in the Singapore government working on large scale computerisation projects for the civil service. In 1994, she founded Network Integration Systems & iCommerce (NIS Group) that successfully developed one of the world’s first Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) over Internet; developed Singapore’s first Internet commerce management system in 1995; and received the SingaporeONE Pioneer Award in 1997 for the first B2B2C supermarket e-commerce system for Cold Storage. NIS Group subsequently was acquired by Sterling Commerce in 1998, which is now part of IBM. Lilian was 2001 finalist of ASME Netrepreneur of the Year Award. She co-developed curriculum and lectured for National University of Singapore’s Institute of Logistics’ RFID Master Class programme; and launched together with Thailand’s Ministry of Information and Communication’s first RFID/Internet of Things Summit 2006. She served as a judge for Singapore’s inaugural e-Government Excellence Awards in 2013, which was jointly organised by Singapore’s Ministry of Finance and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. Lilian was recognised as one of the ‘Great Women of Our Time 2015’ for “outstanding career achievements and contributions to society in science and technology” by The Singapore Women’s Weekly magazine. Since 2012, Lilian has helmed iAPPS Pte Ltd as founding Chairman/CEO, and she is a senior member of the Singapore Computer Society.
Chief Operating Officer
She has 20 years of experience in IT, focussing on project management, sales, presales, managed services and back office operations. Evonne has been with iAPPS since its inception, and now oversees departments in human resource, sales and project management.
Chief Technology Officer
He has over 24 years of experience in business technology, and in a previous engagement, managed an average yearly portfolio of US$6 million for technology investment and led a department of 60 staff globally. Sam manages iAPPS’s technical teams in Singapore, China and Indonesia.
Chief Strategy Officer
He has over 20 years of experience in strategic online community building. He started his career as a software specialist and worked his way up to senior management of technology companies. He ventured to China and had successfully set up a software company there and formed a strategic alliance with Nanjing University. He holds a MSc in IT from Glasgow University (UK). Daniel’s seven-year stay in the Middle East aptly puts him in a good stance to lead business efforts there.
Regional Business Director
She has over 10 years of experience in IT, focussed on customer service, web development and business analysis for Internet banking. Veann is a pioneer iAPPS staff and manages iAPPS’s regional business development and marketing.
He has over 8 years of experience in design, specialising in user interface/experience design for mobile apps, graphic design, video animation and illustration. Derek produces and oversees all creative imagery in iAPPS and is also a pioneer iAPPS staff.
